Stephan Becker was born in 1980 in Wuppertal / NRW and grew up in a musical family. The father played drums, the brother electric guitar and the grandpa several classical instruments. Except for his grandfather, who died young, but no one was in a band.

In 1985, the musical interest of Stephan began. The first sounds he started on a home organ to play. Initially, there were still wild sounds, later he played more and more tunes from the radio after. The father noticed quite quickly his talent and enrolled him to music lessons. Contrary to expectations, however, he was not interested in keyboard, but playing the guitar. Only at the age of 10 years, he moved to piano lessons.

1993 should be set up in the school who visited Stephan, a school band. Unlike the existing Jazz Band, the new band should deal with rock and pop. Stephan took over the keyboards. After nearly a year, the band had their first performance at school and called himself from that date “High Security”. After a short time became of the initially ridiculed “High Security” a successful band that got performances outside of school. So also with the Wuppertal students Rock Festival, where the band under the name of “The Rocky Horror Picture Group feat. High Security “occurred and coverte the songs from the eponymous film by overwhelming applause. More regular appearances followed in dyeing, in the House of Youth, …

From 1995 changed regularly occupying the band. New guitarists new singer, new drummer. Stephan was the band as a keyboardist faithful to the last.

In 1998, Stephan started with other musician friends in Dusseldorf a parallel band project that experimented with electronic / rock and even wrote their own songs. The collaboration ended in 2000 due to work commitments and the long commutes.

The electronic music, as well as working with synthesizers fascinated him further. So from this point first songs emerged. The solo project “STEVAN” originated.

2003 decided Stephan, the last of the original line-up, the departing “High Security” and to tread new paths.

In 2004, two musicians from around Dusseldorf contact with him who wanted to start a Depeche Mode tribute band and were looking for a keyboard player. The rehearsals began in the same year in an old distillery in Kaarst. After some personnel changes was from 2005, the final formation that henceforth “EXXITER” called. The first concerts quickly followed, after a short time the band celebrated their first successes. However, it quickly came up against technical limits. So the band invested increasingly about as close as possible to be the most original in technique and instruments. At the same time pursued to a higher level of professionalism. Dates in photographic and recording studios were duty to convince fans and organizers can. The success confirmed the concept of the band. Appearances at home and abroad followed.

2005 Relocation to Hattingen. Investment in a private home studio for his solo project.

2009 ended Stephan and two other band members working with “EXXITER” because of internal disagreements. From then on, he focused again on his solo project “STEVAN”.

2016 Stephan decided his solo project after “EXXORE” rename. Under this name arise at present new songs.
